Meet Our Pharmacists
Alice Dillard, Pharmacist Manager/ Co-owner
Having lived in Durham nearly all my life, I am proud to say I have grown up in family business. I worked in the store throughout high school and after having graduated UNC School of Pharmacy in 1989 have been back working since 1990. I am so fortunate to have helped 3 generations of people in our community with their medications. I am immunization certified and have been giving flu and shingles vaccines for the past several years. I am also pleased to be a preceptor for UNC & Campbell schools of Pharmacy, we work with Pharmacy students several months each year as part of their Professional Experience Program.
Emily Murray
Emily Murray graduated from UNC School of Pharmacy in 2000 and has worked in several areas of the profession since then, including community pharmacy, pharmaceutical industry, and public health. Although she enjoyed the unique experiences in all of these different practice environments, community pharmacy is where her heart truly is. Emily is married and has 3 beautiful daughters who keep her very busy outside of work. In her free time, she enjoys reading, scrapbooking, watching Tarheel basketball, and working on projects around the house.
Scott McGrath
This is my second stint at the oasis we call Triangle Pharmacy/Ace Hardware, having left 6 years ago to conquer the Northeastern United States – Providence, RI to be exact. After 3 years of not understanding anyone around me, I returned to NC, working with Target Pharmacy (and CVS pharmacy after Target sold us out). I’m happy to rejoin all of my friends and fantastic patients! It’s amazing to me that the names of all of our customers came right to me upon seeing their face. I guess that means I’m back in the right place.
When I’m not working, I spend as much time as possible with my lovely girlfriend, Tracey, and my amazing little boy, Ethan. I play guitar, garden, cook and I have mastered the art of flying foam airplanes.
